. Ms. Bjorkelid is a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language and Teaching English as a Second Language and has over 9 years’ experience setting up various curricula and educational programs at the House of Hope. She is fluent in Thai, Shan, English, Norwegian and some German. I addition to teaching, she has solid experience working with translation and training/mentoring international and local staff at House of Hope. She has also experience with counseling and teaching children suffering of PTS and learning disabilities. Ms. Bjorkelid is one of the main advisors behind this project and will also help train and advise the teachers working in the Nong Ook School. Together with Sai Noom Hkurh, she is responsible for the project set-up, school curriculum, administration and coordination.
